Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 3, 2026
Viralari ("we", "us") operates viralari, a content intelligence tool. This Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
1. Data we collect about you
- Account data: email address, password hash, full name (optional), profile picture (optional). Provided by you at signup.
- Billing data: processed by our payment provider. We store the customer ID, plan, subscription status, and the last four digits of the card. We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage data: the channels you connect, the hooks you generate, the timestamps of your actions in the app. Used to operate the Service and improve product quality.
2. Data we collect about accounts you connect
When you connect an Instagram or TikTok handle, we read its public profile information (display name, follower count, profile picture, biography) and the public posts it has published (caption, performance metrics, thumbnail, video, audio). We do not access private accounts, direct messages, or any data behind authentication on the source platform. We obtain this data via authorized third-party providers; we do not scrape these platforms directly.
3. How we use it
- To operate the Service: classify content, score performance, surface patterns, generate hooks.
- To send transactional email about your account, billing, and support.
- To improve product quality through aggregated, anonymised analysis. We do not use your private data to train third-party models.
- To prevent fraud and abuse.
4. Service providers
We use a small number of vetted service providers to operate viralari. Data shared with each is limited to what they need to perform their function:
- Cloud hosting and database: stores account data, channel metadata, and analysis output.
- AI inference providers: receive the post content needed to classify your reels and generate hooks. We configure no-retention for training where supported. None of these providers use your data to train their models.
- Audio transcription: receives audio bytes when video-based extraction is unavailable.
- Public-data providers: receive the handle of each account you connect so we can fetch its public posts.
- Payment processor: handles billing.
- Transactional email: sends account and billing notifications.
- Error monitoring: receives de-identified error stack traces and request metadata.
- Analytics: cookie-less, aggregated page views only.
A current sub-processor list with vendor names is available on request to [email protected].
5. Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal, billing, or fraud-prevention reasons.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict our processing of it. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
7. International transfers
Our infrastructure and sub-processors operate globally. By using the Service you consent to the transfer of your personal data to jurisdictions whose data-protection laws may differ from your own. We use industry-standard safeguards including, where applicable, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Our analytics provider is cookie-less by design.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under that age. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
11. Contact
Email [email protected] for any privacy-related question or request.
